PRACTIONER

James McBride, M.D., is a board-certified Michigan physician who has expanded his work beyond traditional OB/GYN care to focus on patients with complex chronic Lyme disease and tick-borne coinfections. Having lost his son “Jack” to Vector Borne Illness, Dr. McBride’s advocates to help patients whose persistent, multisystem symptoms using a Lyme-literate, functional, and integrative approach to evaluation and treatment.

PRACTIONER

Henry Lindner, M.D., is a longtime general practitioner, former U.S. Air Force medical officer/flight surgeon, and hormone-restoration specialist. He has presented his clinical observations on Bartonella–Babesia coinfection at ILADS conferences. His advocacy is deeply personal: his daughter Valerie developed severe tick-borne illness after deer-tick bites, leading him to focus on underrecognized Babesia infections, particularly Babesia odocoilei, and the need for greater clinical awareness and research.

ADVOCATE

Kim Talia ‘s family was profoundly affected by a complex neuroinflammatory illness involving PANS, seizures, and tick-borne infections. Today she advocates for earlier recognition of infectious, immune, metabolic, and inflammatory contributors to neuropsychiatric disease. Kim shares her family’s experience with parents, physicians, and legislators and advocates for better detection, treatment, research, and funding for PANS and tick-borne illness.

ADVOCATES

Siblings Payton and Carter Bradsky are Lyme disease survivors, patient advocates, and co-founders of LymeLess Health, a precision-medicine platform focused on improving care for people with Lyme and tick-borne coinfections. Their own experiences with Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, neurological symptoms, misdiagnosis, and fragmented care inspired them to combine technology, strategy, and patient advocacy to create clearer pathways to diagnosis, treatment, research, and support for the Lyme+ community.
